Food was really good. We both ordered sushi rolls and also a box entree of chicken katsu with the macaroni salad. It came up to be a good price for two people for what we ordered. Will be back for sure very soon

I go to Hula very often and I have always loved it. It's a go-to for my whole family. However, today I was very shocked and not happy. I made an order through door dash and called Hula afterwards to ask them to add teriyaki sauce on the side of my order. The girl who answered the phone sounded young and very rude/unenthusiastic to begin with. Once I asked for the sauce, I couldn't believe what she was saying. She kept said "we don't care about that. Come pick it up yourself". Excuse me what?!? I was very disappointed in Hula and angry that I was spoken to like this. Its also not that hard to add teriyaki sauce on the side. I called back and a different lady answered and said she could add it to my order. But once I got my food, there was no sauce!! I'm honestly not that mad about the missing sauce, but I do want to know who that young girl is that I spoke with and why she thinks it's okay to speak to a customer like that.
Not happy with Hula. -

Watch out with the grouchy ass bidder old lady, she was tripping on everything me and my kids were doing. I will never go there again, been going since 2003 since we moved to Southport and I will never go here again I rather drive to ITerikay on Harbor better taste.
Rotten old lady unhappy ass -

Im not from Sac and found Southport Town Center. From the review about STC is that Hula Hawaiian BBQ was a lot better than L&L. The moment I walked in through the door, i was like "dis no hawaiian food".
I asked for Lau Lau plate and the cashier didn't know what i was asking. Not serving or not having Lau Lau on the menu is a NO NO. They have fountain beverage which is all you can drink but there is a sign that says "after 3rd refill is $.50 n 4th is $.75". I don't know if that sign should be there. I was looking forward for a good Lau Lau plate. Read another misdirected review. Should of just gone to Aloha Poke & Ramen -

I was in the area and decided to stop by for a quick lunch. It was around 1:15pm on a Thursday; the lunch rush had already left and they weren't busy at all.
I ordered the Mini Meal with Chicken Katsu with Curry Sauce on the side (~$6). It comes with 1 scoop rice, 1 scoop macaronic salad, and veggies. I also got a side of seaweed salad (~$4). The cashier wasn't friendly and didn't care to answer my questions or make sure my order was correct.
The chicken katsu itself was good along with the macaroni salad and rice. However, most of the plate was taken up by the veggies underneath. I expected more of the protein. The seaweed salad was plentiful and worth the cost, in my opinion. But again, they put extra veggies under as fillers, which I found unnecessary.
Overall, it was a mediocre experience. I would probably give it one more try but I'm not excited to come back here in the near future.
